WBShop.com, the official online store of Warner Bros. Studios is offering an exclusive Limited Edition of the Inception Blu Ray. The “Inception Briefcase Gift Set” is limited to 2,000 units in the USA and it contains the following: Both the Blu-ray disc and DVD of Inception housed in a special metal briefcase. Also included in the briefcase are seven Art Cards, “The Cobol Job Comic,”, a replica Spinning Top Totem, and a replica PASIV Device Instruction Manual.

♦Metal briefcase measures 9 x 6.5 x 2.75 inches.

♦The full-color “The Cobol Job” comic measures 5.75 x 4 inches and is 33 pages long.

♦The 10-page black & white PASIV instruction manual measures 5.75 x 4.5 inches.

Alien Anthology Egg Limited Edition to 5,000 Online Orders Exclusive to Foxconnect.com

The highly anticipated Alien Anthology Blu Ray Limited Edition set that comes with the Alien Egg collectible made by Sideshow Collectibles is limited to a run of only 5,000. As previously reported, you can preorder the special Egg edition at Foxconnect.com. Additionally, Bill Hunt at Digital Bits claims that no other retailers (online or offline) besides Foxconnect.com will carry the special Egg edition of Alien Anthology.

The special Comic-Con Egg edition of Alien Anthology costs 149.99 and I can confirm that coupon code COMIC still works for 15.00 off the price at the time of this writing.

The FoxConnect store is accepting preorders right now for the Alien Anthology Blu Ray set with the Egg collectible made by Sideshow Collectibles. The price is 149.99 but you can also use a 10% off coupon if you haven’t yet signed up for their email newsletters. Fox will be showing off Alien Anthology and its Egg packaging at San Diego Comic Con, perhaps allowing people at the show to purchase it early, however the online preorder states October 26th as the shipping date for both the Collectible Egg set and normal Alien Anthology Blu Ray versions.

Target stores will have an exclusive Limited Collector’s Edition Iron Man 2 Blu ray packaged in a special metal case. The collector’s edition packaging will be numbered and limited to 30,000. Preorders are now available on Target.com for 34.99, the movie ships September 28th.

Alien Anthology Blu Ray 6 Disc Set Shipping October 26th

The six disc Alien Anthology Blu Ray set will hit shelves on October 26th and preorders at Amazon.com have opened up with a price tag of 97.99

The six disc set contains the first four Alien movies plus disc five is titled Making the Anthology and disc six is named The Anthology Archives. Over 12,000 photos and 60 hours of special features are packed into this set.

Additionally, the Anthology will supposedly have a limited edition with the Blu Ray set tucked inside this crazy “Gaurdian” Alien egg.. that’s the one I’m waiting for. A future post will update with any information on the limited edition.
